Bio

Aaron James Holland was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He moved to Okeechobee, Florida during his middle school years. It was there that he graduated high school and then joined the United States Air Force in 1994. While he went through basic training and technical school he traveled all across the United States learning how to be a part of the Security Police (currently known as Security Forces of the United States Air Force).

 

During his service in the military, Aaron visited many different countries. He served in various assignments that gave him tremendous opportunities to visit places all around the world. In his time served, he visited 7 different countries. Some of his favorite places were Italy, England, Ireland, and Saudi Arabia. During his time in the USAF, Aaron received several rewards, including the Air Force Achievement medal for Meritorious Service during his many accomplishments and sacrifices serving between 1994 and 1998. Aaron stated during his time serving in the United States Air Force that, "It was some of the most influential and inspiring times of my life."

 

When Aaron completed serving his country in 1998, he returned to civilian service and worked with both of his brothers on roofing and tree trimming up until the end of 1999. In January of 2000, he moved to north Georgia and married his wife that same summer. They would later have two children.

 

During his time in north Georgia, he began his post secondary education with several certificates from Chattahoochee Technical College (Formerly known as Appalachian Technical College) and a diploma as a Microcomputer Specialist. He also earned a certification in Network + from Comptia. In the meantime he worked for the Georgia Department of Driver Services for four years. He later earned his 4 year degree in Technical Management from DeVry University. He worked as a Technology Specialist for the Pickens County School system for nearly seven years before becoming a teacher at Pickens High School in the summer of 2013. He continues to teach business and technology classes in that same county. 

 

Aaron James Holland has always been in the realm of public service through his professional development since he was 15 years old and has always worked to help those around him to the best of his ability. He has served his country, state, and school-community of Jasper, GA for nearly two decades. His goal is to someday become a full-time writer to share his many stories with the world. He wants to leave a lasting impression of his life experiences, imagination, and writing decades after he is gone.
